“High School…Love it, Lead it” Join Michele Staley, Principal at Clear Brook High School, in uncovering the power and influence the students have in molding a successful High School. In 'High School: Love It and Lead It" you will discuss how students should and must advocate for themselves and others to have a positive impact on their school and community. Stepping outside your comfort zone to develop confidence and leadership skills will serve you for the rest of your life as well as serving the students in your school.
“Patience…The Useful Skill of a Leader” Join Dr. Nicholas Williams, Professor, University of North Texas as he explains why he believes patience is the most important and useful skill of a leader. In this session Dr. Williams will lead participants in exploring a variety of essential leadership skills that are key critical to effective leadership. Without the application of personal patience toward individual leadership growth, these skills will be rendered useless and remained undeveloped.
“Leading Without the Mask…What it Takes to be an Authentic Leader” Join Kristen Hoff in discovering what it means to “remove the mask of leadership” and be an authentic leader. She will share her experiences in leadership at the high school and collegiate level, as well as those she is now experiencing as she enters the workforce. These experiences have collectively shaped her belief that the genuine leader is always the most influential, respected and successful.
