SASI provides a variety of on-site camps, clinics, and workshops to high school students involved in a variety of organizations across the United States. To date, we have trained over 15,000 students in over 250 schools. Please read below to find out more about why SASI is the premier high school leadership training organization in the country.
Leadership Development
Participants receive leadership training that is dynamic, impacting and relevant for today’s emerging young leader. Our curriculum is recognized as one of the best in the country and is designed, developed, and delivered by Ron Morrison, SASI - CEO, and Manny Maldonado, Associate Director of Bands – Claudia Taylor Johnson High School. Conducting Instruction
Participants receive instruction that is relevant and provides a fresh, modern approach to conducting. Our dynamic conducting staff includes Dr. Nicholas Williams, Associate Director of Wind Studies - University of North Texas and Amanda Drinkwater, Director of Bands – Marcus High School.
Marching Instruction
Participants receive a new and innovative approach to corps style marching. Instruction focuses on improving individual teaching skills, marching techniques and drill-learning abilities. The marching curriculum is also recognized as one of the best in the country and is designed, developed, and delivered by Jeremy Spicer, Director of Bands – Vandegrift High School, and Michael Howard, Associate Director of Bands - Vandegrift High School.

Lodging
Participants are housed in the dorms at the University of Oklahoma. Participants are responsible to bring linens, toiletries, and other personal items as none are furnished by the university.
Tuition
- Resident Tuition is $425.00 per participant.
- Commuter Tuition is $325.00 per participant.
- A $3.5% fee is assessed for all online credit card payments.
- Covers all camp related materials for both resident and commuter participants.
- Covers all meals for all participants.
- Covers lodging for resident participants only.

- Limited to 250 participants
- Begins in February
Who should attend
All current, future and prospective drum majors are all welcome to attend. Also, current, future and prospective student leaders or those aspiring to hold leadership position are also welcome as they begin their individual leadership journey.
