SASI provides a variety of on-site camps, clinics, and workshops to high school band students across the United States. To date, we have trained over 15,000 students in over 250 schools. Please read below to find out more about why SASI is the premier high school leadership training organization in the country.
Leadership Development
Participants receive leadership training that is dynamic, impacting, and relevant for today’s emerging young leader. Our curriculum, recognized as one of the best in the country, is designed and developed by Ron Morrison, SASI, CEO and Director of Fine Arts of Pearland Independent School District. Marching Instruction
Participants receive a fresh and innovative look at corps-style marching. Instruction focuses on improving individual teaching skills, marching techniques, and drill-learning skills. Our marching band staff includes Jeremy Spicer, Director of Bands – Vandegrift High School.
Time and Location
Workshops are:
- Scheduled to meet your needs.
- Typically two days in length (call for alternate options).
- Held at the location of your choice, as secured by your organization.
Tuition
Leadership development only:
- Participants - 35 minimum, 50 maximum.
- $100 per participant.
Leadership development and marching instruction:
- Participants - 35 minimum, 50 maximum.
- $125 per participant.
Marching instruction only:
- Participants - 35 minimum, 50 maximum.
- $150 per participant.
Tuition covers all materials listed below and all facilitator travel-related expenses. A signed contract accompanied by a 25% deposit is required to schedule your event.
Materials
All materials, including workbooks, writing utensils, relevant video presentations, and interactive game materials, are provided by SASI at no extra cost and with no inconvenience to you.
Who should attend
Participation at on-site camps, clinics and workshops is at the discretion of the host school. The host school may invite attendees based their organizational needs as long as the number of participants does not exceed the contracted and agreed upon amount of participants. SASI encourages all current, future and prospective leaders to attend if approved by the host school.
